Study Period Break and Exam arrangements

This is your last weekend before SP5 starts up again...
If you haven't had the chance to do something fun and refreshing, why not visit a museum or art gallery this weekend?
Or visit some of Adelaide's many attractions...
Or you could start working your way through 1001 Children's books to read before you grow up...

Next week (week 9) is the last week to make any changes to your exams arrangements. If your disability or medical condition impacts on your exams and you need to negotiate adjustments, contact a Disability Adviser before Friday 5th October.

Research Study Looking for Participants
Kerry Arrow, a student from RMIT University is completing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Kerry is looking for participants for her research study, see below:

"For my doctoral thesis I designed an online group therapy program (MoodGroup) for the treatment of depression in Australian adults.

We are seeking participants for a randomised controlled trial to evaluate the efficacy of MoodGroup. The program runs for 9 weeks and 6-8 participants per group meet in an online classroom for two hours each week. The groups are facilitated by provisional psychologists and the content is derived from cognitive-behavioural therapy.

Participants are also required to undertake readings and home practice activities.
Further information about MoodGroup can be found here: http://www.rmit.edu.au/browse/RMIT%20News/Newsroom/News/Media%20Releases/by%20date/Aug/Wed%2029/Online%20depression%20therapy%20participants%20sought
You can also access the webpage here: www.rmit.edu.au/psychology/moodgroup

If you would like to discuss this further please do not hesitate to contact me on moodgroup@rmit.edu.au or kerry.arrow@student.rmit.edu.au.
Kind regards,
Kerry Arrow"
