The Mental Health Unit (MHU) is looking for people with lived experienced of mental illness to be involved in providing feedback, advice and ideas about how mental health services can be improved by becoming members of the Mental Health Unit’s Consumer Reference Group (MHU CRG).
The MHU CRG’s role is to: provide the MHU and the Statewide Mental Health Executive with consumer knowledge, experience and expertise in order to inform and shape strategic service planning and policy development to ensure improvement in the quality of services, the service experience of consumers and ultimately consumers’ quality of life.
The group meets monthly and is chaired by the MHU’s Consumer Consultant.
