Successful Transition to Post-Secondary Education for Students with an Autism Spectrum Disorder
Participants Wanted

- Who is conducting this research?
This research is being conducted at the Olga Tennison Autism Research Centre (OTARC), La Trobe University, Melbourne. It forms part of the Honours year psychology research project undertaken by Robin Giles, under the supervision of Associate Professor Amanda Richdale.

- Who can take part?
Students with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) who started the first year of a course at TAFE, College or University in Semester 1, 2012, and/or:
Parents/Guardians of such students.

- Why are we conducting this research?
We want to understand the experiences of individuals with ASD who have made the transition to post-secondary education, to help develop better supports for these students.

- What will it involve?
Participation involves completing a series of short, anonymous questionnaires online about their background and their own, or their child’s, experience at TAFE, College or University. Participation takes approximately 10 to 20 minutes and is via a web-link that will be sent via email to a contact email address provided by you.
The online questionnaire will be open until 30/11/12
